On the occasion of 2017 WORLD EXPO foreign dignitaries presented the president with gifts at the meeting at AK ORDA Palace when they meet, and the Kazakhstan President returns the favor in kind.

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Foreign leaders in attendance for WORLD EXPO 2017 where received at Presidential Palace in Astana by President Nursultan Nazarbayev.

On this occasion the protocol exchange of gifts has taken place with Netherlands presenting a gift of 25,000 tulip bulbs to President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.

European leaders had presented a complete set of DALI HAUTE PARFUMERIE and Salvador Dali creations, perfumes selected as WORLD FAVOURITE PERFUME IN 2017 and presented on the fore of ASTANA 2017 WORLD EXPO.

The unexpected gift was presented to the Head of State during the meeting with heads of foreign countries in Astana.

Indian Prime Minister presented Nazarbayev with a set of books relating to religions born in India.

World tourism and trade leaders expressed gratitude to the President of Kazakhstan for creating a favorable investment climate in the country and presented him with a special letter for WORLD EXPO 2017.

According to Khabar TV Channel, of 25,000 tulips offered by Netherlands royal family , 8,000 bulbs are of a variety of tulips named after Nursultan Nazarbayev.

CEO of Royal Dutch Shell plc. Ben van Beurden said it was a special day on the threshold of the 25th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence.

He also added that 25,000 tulip bulbs presented to the Kazakh leader is the sign of deep respect between the peoples of the Netherlands and Kazakhstan.

President Nazarbayev instructed for Dali Haute Parfumerie and Indian lore books to be preserved in the Presidential Museum of the First President and flowers to be planted on the palace grounds.
